Review on 🔌 Metra 71-7552 Radio Wiring Harness: Compatibility for Nissan 2007-up & Subaru 2008-up by Isaac Islam

I bought this wiring harness to avoid cutting the factory wiring in the car. I wanted to add an amp and sub to the factory head unit. This reverse suspension is perfect for this application. However, ALL the backlight cables are missing. It only has one dimmer wire, which is actually wired incorrectly. If you replace the stock stereo wiring with this, you won't have a backlight in the center of the main unit. The CD tray does not light up and the TUne/Seek/Channel/FM/AM Power/Volume buttons are dark. Metra really messed things up here. The CORRECT part number is 60-7552 and Metra discontinued it so I had to get one from a guy in Georgia who makes his own straps. It has all 20 pins on the radio harness plus a harness coming from the dash. Repeat that both part numbers 71-7552 and 70-552 (wiring harness to connect to the original dashboard wiring harness) are missing wires for the lighting. I have confirmed to Metra that they did it on purpose, I have an email to prove it. I don't understand how Metra can sell this replacement to OEM radios. You obviously haven't tested it. DO NOT BUY!
