First I filled my system with distilled water. This was added later. It probably wasn't worth doing this, but who knows, the instructions with this material are limited. Anyway, I shook it vigorously, and as soon as I poured it, limescale started to form and white particles started to collect in the corners. I also have foam/bubbles on the top of my distribution. I don't think all of these problems could have been avoided by simply premixing. On the plus side, it adds a bit of a reactive glow to the lighting, so I think that's great. For what it's worth, the cap is dated February 2020, be it the expiration date or the bottling date. I'll take apart my entire loop to clarify this.
