One of my favorite shoes from the early 80's growing up with adidas superstars and suede cougars. My mom bought me some of these sneakers because I loved them so much, but no, they don't look identical to the ones from the 70's and 80's, they used to look a lot better, the hard look on the bottom looked rougher and even the whole outsole was thicker and if you compare their photos to the vintage models, the Nike Swoosh logo on the side of the sneakers looked much better. These new models look boring, as curvy as the ones in the past and the blue or from the past was nicer and also the suede front and back were darker and more faded than the nylon part which gave them a better look and if you looking closely at them with the vintage on the side they look boring and ordinary while the older models look from the side they looked like a mean shark. look from the side, just a beautiful beauty, wish they made them the same as old times, but still a nice sneaker, and please order half a size up, nike cortez always runs small, everyone has them in my house, My wife, kids and everyone needed half a size up.
