Review on 🔍 Ridgid 36163 Model Micro CD-100: Advanced Combustible Gas Detector & Leak Detector by Chris Hazzard

Let me start by saying that I am a Licensed New Jersey Home Inspector. Retired Firefighter. I have many years of professional experience with gas meters and detectors. This hard detector does NOT work. I calibrated it as I understand it. And it has NOT detected ANY gas leak from my stove. I took the detector outside for 5 minutes and brought it back for double checking. Nothing. I changed the batteries and the third time nothing. The fourth time I put it back on my stove. After 2 minutes he received a low level warning. WOW! I used it on an inspection of a commercial boiler room a few days later. I smelled gas entering the room. The detector couldn't find anything. My nose found it in seconds. This detector is unsafe for any use in my opinion. Send it back. Here is the HARD quality.
