Review on πŸ”’ Belkin 4-Way Privacy Screen Protector: Enhanced Privacy for Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation by Andrea Walters

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It's ok if you like looking through a screen door.

. I love that they included a hard plastic card so users can try to iron out the bubbles that usually appear during installation (tried to remove them all but there are still a few inside). It's hard to tell if there are bubbles there because this privacy screen is very dark. When it was on, it looked very discreet. I'm not sure how important the privacy is on your Apple iPod touch 32GB (4th generation) - Black - Current Version, but it reduces the ability to look at the iPod screen from the side. Unfortunately, it doesn't look so good when viewed directly. The high-resolution display doesn't look very sharp with this privacy screen. Now it looks degraded and almost pixelated. Running your hand over it gives you a rough texture that acts like a "screen" on the front of the iPod. Great idea, maybe a polarized screen protector would be a better solution? Box, but this product seemed to really annoy the display on the iPod for me, and even more so for anyone who wanted to sneak a peek at the screen. I love it when my album covers are shown in Coverflow, with this protection it's hard to see them and all their details. I've adjusted the brightness on my iPod, but the "grainy" picture quality remains. The cleaning cloth was very good, not a cheap addition like other screen protectors. I use it with the Belkin Grip Vue Tint Case for Apple iPod Touch 4G (Black) which I received shortly after the 4th generation iPod was launched. This case originally cost $30, which is cool for what it is, and $30 for that privacy protection is way too much in my opinion. Belkin seems to have a penchant for $30. Come on guys, this is too much!

Pros
  • . I've always loved it.
Cons
  • . Amazing price.
