I was looking for a stand like this to place my setup compactly as I often put my laptop on and off the table. This stand works pretty well, but my laptop isn't very compatible, so a quick word of warning: if your laptop has thick/tall legs or a really curved case, this might not be the best option. I was able to rotate the stand to work reasonably well, but my bulky 2020 HP Omen 15 didn't quite fit on the two-piece straight clip stand.
