Review on Lion Brand Yarn 231-113 Gold Leaf 🦁 Yarn: Vibrant Red/Gold Blend for Stunning Craft Projects by Kristen Reid

At first I didn't want to buy this yarn as I really wanted to see an example of someone else's finished product before taking the risk and trying this unusual product. As it turned out, my indecisiveness was justified. This is a very small skein but the main problem is that the gold parts of this yarn are mostly stickers and a lot of them were already peeling off when I received it. I think it depends on the batch of yarn you receive and how long it's been in stock - maybe the summer heat will affect the gold stickers that stick. I also noticed a tie after knitting just a few rows. I am considering bringing it back, although I may decide to keep it for some of my yarn experiments that no one else will see. Maybe this would be good for small details in a larger project. Some here rave about it, so maybe not every strand will have this problem. It's a good idea that the yarn has gold elements, but it didn't quite add up (sorry for the pun).
