Power is always on for spares
Worked fine in my 2016 Sprinter 3500 with factory tow package BUT power is ALWAYS ON. There is no switch and the MB wiring harness is "hot" whether the key is on or not. It hurts to unplug the controller cable every time I find time to install the switch.
