I was hoping I'd like them better than the plastic ones used to tie my baby's hair in a ponytail. However, I have found it to be easy to slip out of hair and a huge waste of money to wear. She can tuck them in at the slightest touch as they fall out of her hair. As soon as they fall out of her hair, my one-year-old is in great danger. I'm not very happy with this purchase but I've lost too many of these to return
