This carrier was exactly what I had in mind when I wanted to carry multiple bikes at once. The cable included in the kit is useful for attaching bikes and luggage to the truck. The only problem I had was that the legs that put pressure on the sides of the bed weren't long enough to fully lock the frame (Dodge 3500). I had to add a small piece of plywood to fill the gap on either side to create a snug fit. The shelf tucks away against the wall in the garage when not in use and works as advertised apart from a loose fit.
