Review on High-performance Edelbrock 2116 Performer Vortec Aluminum Intake Manifold for Enhanced Engine Efficiency by Robert Hole
One of the few options for a Quadrajet on an L31 engine
Used to convert an L31 (5.7L Vortec) with SFI into an old Quadrajet for the Chevy 72 installation to convert. As expected from Edelbrock, the workmanship and fit were good. I paired it with a 1980 Quadrajet and GM dealer HEI. If you use a roller cam, you need the right transfer case. Pretty hard to find but ended up using ACDelco 10456413 to convert it.
