I love the Quest birthday cake bar more than any other protein bar I've tried. However, at $3 a piece next to me, they're not affordable. So I tried the pure protein birthday cake bar to see if it was an affordable alternative to the quest that I liked. Flavor - 1/5. This is bad. It tastes a lot like protein and leaves a VERY bad aftertaste. Has a slight hint of birthday cake but far from a strong flavor. Not very cute. Edit: Microwave the bar for about 20-30 seconds. Tastes MUCH better as 3/5 texture is 1/5. Limey, there's sprinkles on the outside that make it crunchy, but it's repulsive. Macros - 3/5 - for a bar that's 10g lighter than Quest, that's 200 more calories, 1g less protein and 14g less fiber. This has 0 fiber. Conclusion: Do not buy this fragrance.
