I have a new HP Specter X360 laptop (2017) and it only has a USB-C output (my old laptop had a Mini DisplayPort) so I needed an adapter . The problem is that I still have an old Apple Cinema Display 30 that only supports DVI-D (and Apple's spirited mDP-to-DVI active adapter). After three USB-C adapters, I finally saw reviews on this one that mention the ACD30. First try and everything worked perfectly. Full resolution 2560x1600. 3 full days of work and not a single problem.
