I've read a lot about whether this "Hide Care" labeled product is really the same as the older "Hide Food". I think the same, but not positively. One explanation is that the labeling had to change due to FDA regulations that only require foods to be labeled as foods. I believe the word "food" implies human consumption (really? Can anyone eat it? Well, okay). It has a stronger solvent smell than the old leather food container but the old container I have is sooo old and I hesitate to even compare it. After all that is said and done I believe the arrogant quality of Connolly Leather will be the best in the world, they have certainly been recognized as an uncompromising automotive leather quality for far longer than I have lived. Massage in in warm weather, allow to dry while there is still time and rub with a clean towel. Nice. English. Lift your head and look past people as if you don't see them.
