I liked the look of these plastic plates in ivory color- they are sturdy and don’t break easily.However, these (by themselves) are not good for hot food. If you have a taco man, you’re ok for tacos but be careful of their steaming rice and beans. Hot steamy foods are a no no unless you double plate, AND use a napkin as insulation for your hands. These are great for bbq foods such as hot dogs and kabobs, desserts and salads, salad bar, etc.The rims are very sturdy, but the middle part of the plate is where the insulation part is a problem because it is quite thin there. Balancing weight on these plates is recommended. Still, a good value for the price.
