They are better than the cheapest colored pencils. They make the layer (up to 4 for me) pretty smooth and fun. The funny thing is that the name of the barrel and/or the color of the tip at the end doesn't match the actual color of the wax - I repeat that the color of the tip at the end of the barrel doesn't necessarily match the color inside the barrel and/ or the name printed on the wax. Barrel. Even if you think you get 160 different colors, you are wrong. Too many pens is generally wrong. There are several "metallic" colors that are more than just metallic. Generally, for the price, they're worth a one-time purchase.
