I was an optometrist in college and can say their optics are top notch. I also really like her look. I really wanted to love them and get lots of wear and tear from them. Unfortunately they are VERY uncomfortable. I would normally only replace the nose pads because they are rigid and not the soft silicone that eReaders are supposed to have. I even adjusted them with my jewelry making pliers, but that didn't change the fact that they're just beyond repairably uncomfortable. I'll wear them when I can't find my other readers, but I really wish these glasses had a higher +3.0 power. Luckily our daughter works in an optometry shop so I can probably get her to replace her. I can't because the screws are too small for my presbyopia! If you think nose pads don't bother you then these are definitely some really nice glasses. Again, I love the look of the semi-rimless purple frame! These are the best shots I have. The optics are great too! So if you like them, get them! And I'm sure if hard nose pads are a problem, any optician will happily swap them out for silicone pads! They also come with a soft case.
