Review on 🚲 Continental Mountain Bike ProTection Tire - Tubeless, Folding Handmade MTB Performance Tire with Black Chili (26-inch, 27.5-inch, 29-inch) by Tres Carmon

This is for Cross King tires. I purchased the Cross King in the 29 x 2.3 size and unlike previous versions this one fits true to size. It was easy to install with an air compressor and hoses. I decided to insert a tube, hit it with a compressor and let it sit for a couple of hours. This will form the bead better and you can easily remove the tire, pull out the tube and fit without a tube. I use blue Bontrager sealant and it does a good job of not leaking through the sidewall. I think that's the biggest change from the old X Kings. On the track, they're fast, grippy wheels in a tough package. Georgia trails have a high percentage of clay and gravel and these tires feel good. They don't shed mud and wet loam very well, but very few cross country tires can. In terms of durability, they look like new after 200 miles of sand and clay. This is my second set and will continue to be my cross country race tire for my hardtail.
