Perfect for GameCube controller in Wii mode on Wii U
Works great! My brother wanted to play Mario Kart Wii on my Wii U for nostalgia, but the Smash Bros. Nintendo's GameCube didn't work. However, if you connect it to the Wii Remote and then the GameCube controller, it will work in Wii mode. So if you have a Wii U or Wii Mini, you can definitely use them to continue playing with GameCube controllers for Wii games that support them, like Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii.
