Chester is such a bonehead but he loves this leash.

Chester is a huge, stubborn, good mannered golden retriever who loves a walk to inspect every tree that has ever grown on the planet Earth. My sister loaned me a similar leash that was perfect. Not a nylon strap, not a retractable to break at the first cat, but a good comfortable dressy rope. I couldn’t find one in our pet stores, but once again.Walmart saves the day. This one is a very bright 100% nylon that is long enuff, very strong, easy to clean, hasn’t frayed and the clip is very sturdy. There is a plastic lock support behind the spring loaded clamp to keep it from unintentionally popping open. Great idea, I’ll add a picture. For 100 lb Golden retrievers who lose their brains at the first cat, it’s a must!Question.how does a Golden hear a nylon leash coming off a pin by the basement hall from the back bedroom? Not sure if it’s good for a Direwolf or dragon.

Pros
  • I absolutely love the colors and quality of it; my doggo was excited too :)
Cons
  • The rope texture is rough. And then handle is a bit rough as well. The colors are beautiful though.
