Definitely cools 10 degrees Fahrenheit

The engine was running at 216 degrees Fahrenheit according to the ECU but now only runs at 203,206 degrees Fahrenheit. I've been told on various forums that they don't open until 82°C / 180°F. The bottom line is that they run cooler, and with an aluminum block with liners, this can help prevent liner slippage and reset the fuel ratio because it's too cold.
