Update (08/14/20): Found two uses on my 2007 Honda CBR1000RR: a small running light above the main headlights and a number plate. Photos added. Summary: Installed in Mazda 3, license plate light. I've seen reverse lights have a similar cartridge (921, higher wattage) but I change them too. Recommendations: 1) There are several good sites on the internet that will list all the bulbs for your car. It's a good idea to check Revain's cross reference to make sure you're getting the right bulbs. 2) Before reinstalling panels, turn on the light for 15 minutes to burn out. In general, if an LED lamp fails, it usually happens within the first few minutes and should then work for a long time. Pros: good fit and finish; very bright Cons: None Conclusion: LED bulbs are a simple replacement that should provide years of service.
