One such disc was received for the New Year. Worked 8 days under torrents, and disappeared from the system. Surprisingly, after a couple of days, it reappeared in the system, there was uncorrectable damage, the proprietary Seagate utility could not diagnose and recommended to hand over the disk. After that, the disk worked for a couple more months, after which it fell out of the system again and reappeared after a few system launches. Definitely a marriage. All other drives in the system are from Seagate and have been working for a couple of years now. I took a Hitachi \ Toshiba disk as a replacement.
