I have many other types of professional sprayers in the HVLP turbine and airless sprayer group, but I needed a compressor gun for my workshop which I am using a 3M PPS setup for quick hobbies because those guys are quicker to set up. I wasn't expecting much for the price and was pleasantly surprised by this gun. The regulator is junk plastic but works great now and it was only $5 so it was worth it. It sprays great and the regular #21 PPS adapter works with threads that seem to fit most full size imported conversion guns. The fan control has a very large adjustment range. In other words, it's not just 1/2 or 3/4 turn to go through the range. It takes a few turns to go from a round fan to a full fan that is quite wide. I'm very happy with it for my purposes and would give it 5 stars for value, although the controller is "questionable".
