Review on AmScope BH 6V20W Halogen Bulb Microscopes by Daniel Dominguez

I use a Fisher MicroMaster II microscope at work and need a replacement lamp (6V, 20W is very hard to find). Fischer wore it, but at 3 times the price, so I ordered this lamp instead. It buzzed when I used the dimmer and smelled like smoke for the first 2-3 hours. Carl Zeiss lamps from Fisher are more expensive but worth the money in my opinion. It's also possible that it was just a mess. All in all I would probably hesitate to buy one of these lamps but if money is important then go for it.
