I don't use it in my car but in more difficult conditions. My wife has Parkinson's disease and has serious balance problems. So if she manages to stand on her own, it's definitely a fall. I wanted to be able to attach a phone holder to my lawn mower so I could see it on a video camera. I tried but it didn't hold my phone. It has. My garden is very uneven with a few trees that are long gone but now the roots are rotting so there are huge buds. This not only holds my phone without slipping, but the suction cup also holds tight. And it's been attached to my mower day and night, even through Hurricane Florence since I received it. The suction cup didn't let up, the clamp held tight. The only thing I have to be careful of is that the clip isn't over the power button, but that's easy to do. I definitely recommend it.
