I bought this kit to replace my disintegrating wrist rest and mouse pad. I love this set. According to the description, I expected 3 pieces; But the 2 piece version could be better. Mouse pad and palm rest are integrated in one. The set is very good and I would buy it again. PLUS • Good support with a firm yet comfortable feel. • Stays in place on my desk and doesn't slip, much like my old foam rubber feet. • The mouse mount and pad remain in a good position for mouse use while still providing support. • The tops of both parts are covered with a layer of material that looks like nylon mesh. It should stick better than open foam. CONS • The keyboard palm rest could be wider (4.5 inches would be better) to allow my wrist to rest on the palm rest when I'm typing on the bottom row of the keyboard and the palm rest touches the keyboard. Now I'm trying to leave a 2 inch gap between the keyboard and the palm rest; but that may change if I switch between mouse and keyboard. o My very old foam support was over 4.5" x 17". This foam support can be placed next to the keyboard and keeps my wrist away from the bottom keys like z, x, c, v, b, , n, m keys. • I would have preferred a longer mouse pad to support my wrist. Part may be farther from the active area of the mouse. Placing the palm rest at the very bottom of the mouse pad also works.
