Review on EAZ LIFT 48860 Telescopic Jack by Damien Krzywicki

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great alternative for RV alignment

I bought a used fifth wheel that didn't have the rear half alignment system. It seems a lot of people who have scissor jacks end up bending or tearing them off, so I wanted something that wasn't permanently secured. After I bought them, I followed a previous reviewer's advice, lined up my 5th wheel with the chassis, and then installed jack stands directly on the back of the RV's frame. I lowered the nose off the chassis and raised the jack legs until they touched the frame of the RV. Raising the chassis to re-level the RV was rock solid. It might seem like a lot of back and forth, but there is no longer a need to crank the scissor jack and check the height from side to side. The middle step could have been removed, but I wanted to see how much pressure is being put on the C-pillars. Some reviewers complain that they only have 3 holes, take out the drill bit and put in whatever holes you want. FYI, the distance between the bottom and middle holes is not twice the distance between the middle and top holes. Look at the photos and you will understand what I am talking about. I also went to my auto parts store and bought two end caps which I attached to the frame with sheet metal screws to serve as the receiver for the jack head. .Good sockets. And you can't rip them off the curb!
