When I first started working in the workshop, many tradesmen told me to pay for this particular make and model. Everyone has them, and many of them have been around for several years and still perform like new. This is my second purchase of an IR 301B (a gift from my father). This grinder is strong, very durable and very easy to use. I love this one around the corner. I will not buy a grinder again. You won't find anything better at this amazing price. Matco is quite comparable but bigger, and don't get me started with Snap-On. This is the best straight grinder I have ever used and it is such a great deal.
