Review on Lutron DVWFSQ-FH-WH 1.5 Amp Diva White Fan Control - Single-Pole or 3-Way by James Lozoya

I have a fan that has stopped working properly and only runs at one speed - High! The pull chain seemed to work (it still "pulled" correctly) but no longer changed the fan speed. I've researched online and everything I've read indicated that I would need to replace the fan. Finally I thought about these wall switches that control fan speed and decided to give it a try. They work great! Instead of spending a few hundred dollars and a few hours replacing the entire fan, I've now spent about $20 and ten minutes replacing the wall switch/controller. In fact, controlling the fan with a wall switch is so much more convenient that I bought two more for fans in other rooms. I love it and also love that it works well with the rocker switches I have throughout the house.
