Good speed control for wall mounted ceiling fan. no noise A bit expensive. Can be used with standard 3-position and 4-position switches for multipoint control. Works well.

It is easy to install and works great. We used to have remotes for every ceiling fan in the house, but the kids lost them over time, and every time we had a power outage, the remotes would randomly come on in rooms where they weren't supposed to. It was uncomfortable. These switches are perfect - they are always in the fan room and never need to be reprogrammed - highly recommend.

This is the dimmer you need when you need a fan speed switch. Do not use a standard dimmer to adjust the fan speed as it may cause a fire. You need this dimmer to adjust the fan speed. It has a three-position lock (low, medium, high) and a switch apparently turns the fan on and off. Good switch, I'm happy with it.

This is a nice little switch and I like that it keeps the same "design" as our other switches. The plastic seems a little "cheap" but I've installed 3 of these and never had a single break/crack and they were installed a while ago so can't really complain about that. Lutron does good. This is good stuff. If you have any electrical skills at all, this is very easy to install. The instructions are detailed and clear. If you can follow the instructions, you probably don't need the "electrical skills" mentioned above. Once installed, the fan controller does what it is supposed to. I have a fan that has stopped working properly and only runs at one speed - High! The pull chain seemed to work (it still "pulled" correctly) but no longer changed the fan speed.
