available What I received does not work. They were advertised as coming with lithium batteries, but came with "high-capacity" batteries. It was probably fine, just not as advertised. I tested it after putting the battery in by pressing the test button and sure enough it beeped loudly so I fixed it to the ceiling. All is well. But a few days later I was thinking about how hard I had to press that button and how it barely beeped, so I decided to test it with smoke. My old smoke alarms went off when I brought them a lit incense stick. Those didn't work, so I took a small piece of crumpled newspaper, placed it in a steel bowl, held it in place with gloves, and lit the paper. Smoke, flames, ash floated around the smoke detector, but it made no sound. We ran more tests and all failed. I got my old smoke alarms out of the trash, they worked in the tests. So I'm sending these back and putting my old alarms back in until I can buy other new ones that aren't the same brand. They cannot be sold, they give a person undue confidence that they will be safe from smoke and fire. They must be taken off the market. I only gave one star because I can't give zero stars. Don't buy this!
