I used this product to sew the edges of the piping around some Christmas placemats. I had several problems with it: 1. The "red" color is orange-red, not the bright red of Christmas.2. The rope cord in the piping material is not the real white cotton rope you find at Wrights Piping.3. The cord has shrunk in the wash, resulting in heavy wrinkling and less cord. as an adhesive material. This caused the tubing to flatten out in a few places along the edge of my napkin. I had to trim and glue the edges of my napkins a bit to get a true ribbed edge. Not sure what will happen in the second wash.4. The rope cord is not white, but dark colored. Because it's dark, it shines through the connecting material, making the red-orange material even more "fake". After washing, some of the red ink came off the binding material. Not much, but noticeable in the water. It might be cheap for footage, but you get what you pay for. If you're making something beautiful that will last and wear out, don't use it. Pay for the rights.
