My current setup is a bit crazy so I need to be able to shut down/hibernate the computer remotely, this little guy does the job. Advantages: 1. Easy to install! If you have a Gigabyte board, you can purchase a G-connector module to simplify front panel connections. If you don't, just follow the instructions on your board and you'll be fine. Nothing here really matches any specific polarity, so it won't explode if you get any of the connections wrong, they just won't work. 2. Long cable. I think it's 1 m / 3 ft. With the case facing away from you, you can easily move 1.50m away from the front power button and still be able to force the shutdown if necessary.3. Programmable. You can go into the Windows power settings and change the power button to a sleep/hibernate button or disable the reset button entirely. Additional USB! I have so many things connected to my car that I can always use an extra key. Cons: 1. Audio doesn't work for me. I didn't buy this to be a sound button and I already have many connections for something like that. Maybe the problem was in the installation, I don't know. Again, I bought this as a power button so I don't really care about the sound. YMMV.2. Your normal power button no longer works. This has nothing to do with that power button that happens when you reconfigure your computer to work with an external one. Just something to think about! TL;DR: Great power button! I don't know about the sound quality, but it's ok. If you want a power button that also offers a USB 2.0 connection, go for this one. That's great.
