Review on ValvoMax Oil Drain Valve M20 1 50 by Corey Evans

Red seal of the drain plug defective? And if so, when; Is there a guarantee on this just in case? Or do we buy them separately and repair them ourselves? I have just received the item and am very glad I don't have a mess, but I have noticed this and am just a little concerned if there is a time frame for this red seal to go bad. I want to be prepared because if I have to send the drain plug in for repair, meanwhile I will have to use another drain plug for my car, which I think will be cumbersome, but I can handle it. I'm very excited and it looks very well built, but I don't want any accidental leaks. And also. Is the drain plug too long or am I an idiot? I don't want to drive into a speed bump and the drain plug gets stuck on something and then there's a dent or possibly a hole in the oil pan.
