When Apple switched to USB-C for the iPad Pro, it opened up many possibilities. Unfortunately, the iPad only has one USB-C port, which leaves us unable to take advantage of the iPad's capabilities. Thankfully, this USB-C hub is available to further enhance the iPad experience. At first I was skeptical that it would hang around my iPad and break if accidentally bumped into. But the magnetic holders are strong enough to make it appear like this key is just a part of the iPad. It doesn't move easily with random bumps. The first thing I tried was HDMI and it works great on every monitor I have. I also tested USB-C with a 2K portable monitor and it powered the external display with no problem. Although I highly recommend plugging your iPad or external display into a power source as this will quickly drain your iPad's battery. I like it when there are SD card readers. I'm starting to get used to editing my photos and videos on my iPad and these card readers have made media transfer even faster and easier. I don't actually use the 3.5mm audio jack, but it's good to have one in case of an emergency. So for now everything works for my use case with this USB-C hub. I have nothing to complain about. If you do a lot of productive work on your iPad Pro, you should definitely carry it with you at all times.
