These reading glasses are ultra thin, no kidding, they are a lot thinner than you think. Because of this, they are also flexible, which seems odd at first, but makes sense. I'm not used to spring hinges so can't give much information on that. From other reviewers I assume that once the screw comes out they cannot be repaired. At less than $3.70 a pair, that's a great deal. These are simple glasses, nothing special. So if you want something more out of the ordinary I would suggest looking elsewhere. They don't come with a case or cleaning pad, I wish they came in cloth cases because some of the lenses were scratched out of the box, they just came wrapped in thin plastic cases. On the other hand it's hard to find glasses with really low magnification, I don't need much +0.25 or +0.5 seems to work well for me +1 too much so I was happy to find a brand that actually smaller ones has numbers.
