This exhaust tip is great, the fit and finish is very impressive. I installed this tip on my 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax Diesel. If you're looking to polish up that ugly exhaust on your new Duramax trucks, look no further, this tip will help. I trimmed the factory pipe a bit by cutting it at an angle to match the angle of the new tip. While most of the factory tubing remains, there is an air gap which should help reduce the golden color you get when the stainless steel is hot. The wall thickness of the material is 0.055 inch and has a rounded edge. The ferrule fits snugly into the 5" pipe and sits perfectly on the mounting bolt. Overall it really adds a nice touch to the exhaust system, just like they should have done from the factory.
