Review on ASUS ROG Ryujin 240 Liquid CPU Cooler with Live Dash OLED in Black by Mateusz Gniazdowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, as dropsy coped with the most important thing. Under the stress test in Aida64 and playing at max settings in Cyberpank2077, the maximum temperature of the processor (Intel i-5 10500, not scalped, thermal grizzly hydronaut thermal paste) was 71°C and then jumped to this value several times, mostly kept at 64°C . But at the same time, in idle state, the temperature jumps around 35-40 ° C. At average loads of 37-45°C (when working in a graphical editor + an open browser with a ton of tabs + a stream on youtube + outlook + a bunch of running messengers). Such temperatures in idle are not very familiar to me, as a person who has just moved from the air (on the Noctua NH-D15 it was about 28-33 ° C in idle), but at the same time, dropsy copes better at medium and max loads.

Pros
  • Perfectly cools the CPU under load, easy installation, quiet, powerful coolers from Noctua, stylish design of the block with a pump, an additional cooler on the pump, a small and light pump does not bend the motherboard.
Cons
  • Screen flashes after firmware ate. The image on the screen can only be rotated by 180 degrees, but I would like to be able to rotate it by 90 too. Could add backlight on the coolers for the sake of pathos :)
