Excellent headphones Excellent price

I would like to start the review with the headphones with which I have decided to compare them. Pros and cons below. All of the headphones I've used have been gaming. Astro A50 (first gen) $300 Beats Studios $250 paired with DACSennheiser CS 598 $150 paired with DAC And now that I have $99 I have used them with the included USB and connected them to the DAC as well. Star on comfort as soon as I opened the box and grabbed the headphones. I was immediately struck by how comfortable the headband is, way better than Astros and Beats. I used them for a good gaming session and never felt like they bothered me. 3.5mm jack plug can be used. The Xbox must be connected to a controller. There are no details about the switch. Excuse me. Back to PC usage. Sound quality 4.5. Using it with a DAC sounds great. gave them almost a perfect score BUT made sure the sound control worked, ugh. Personally, I now use them exclusively through the aforementioned headphones. Setting up the Alienware audio controls was a hassle as the installation was a bit annoying. Let's skip all of that and move on when everything is set up. Equalizer is a big plus for me. Alienware gives you plenty to choose from right off the bat, but some require some tweaking for some of the games I've listed. You get custom profiles. for those who do not wish to use the films provided. Films I used them with during the review. 3Nier AutomataResident Evil 2 RemakeCall of Duty Modern WarfareAll movies and games listed were used, my personal EQ settings sounded great, even the virtual surround sound. Cons: Update 1: Dolby Atmos for headphones works for this product at the cost of losing EQ settings. So there are basically pros and cons depending on which virtual surround mode you're most interested in. The Alienware sound center was indeed a problem. This is literally the only downside I have with these headphones as this program is what you need to get the most out of the headphones if you don't have a DAC and plan on using them with the included USB connector. Microphone - I didn't buy these to use with microphones, but for this review I decided to add my contribution to them. I have a medium sized head, the mic picks it up really horribly, I could have a faulty mic because no matter what I did, the mic quality was extremely poor, my voice wasn't picked up at all. However, I understood everything I clicked on while writing this review section. Even with Alienware's sound center, which has a mic slot where you can turn off noise cancellation, voice equalizer, and voice shaper, I couldn't get it to work at an acceptable level at all. Advantages. The sound is amazing with both the DAC and the included USB DAC. The wearing comfort is excellent. Follow-up thoughts I would recommend them to anyone just for the sound quality. I would recommend them to those who want a headset and absolutely don't need a microphone. At $99, they're worth the price they're attached for. Frequency response I found odd (aw510h - 20-40Hz / aw988 - 20-20Hz) and smaller drivers (50mm aw510h / aw988 high resolution drivers have 40mm audio drivers) for $100 ($230) more which I find extremely odd.
