I originally bought this sling for my 9 lb Yorkie. I don't know what happened to this order, but I received a notification that the product could not be delivered and that I have received a refund. The product arrived in about a week or so (after finding an alternative). I will not consider this in the rating as I have no way of knowing what happened on the seller side. As we have 4 dogs I tried this one just to get a feel for if it would work as it was already here. I would be afraid to carry an animal that wouldn't land on its paws if it fell out of that sling. I could see how heavy it would be on your back/shoulders due to the open shoulder, over the shoulder design and the fact that the pouch is SO LOW. I'm 5'4" and this sling came down to my waist. The bag is flat and I can't imagine it would feel secure for an animal or that walking your pet in it would be a fun experience for one Humans or Mech would be You return this product and buy a children's movie instead.
