More fun than safety.

More fun than real safety. It squeaks so most pedestrians and cyclists won't hear it. Machines will definitely ignore him. It's basically a talking point on the bike rack and for entertaining little kids. I like it because I love Maneki-Neko. Over time, the soft plastic tends to crack where it attaches to the mount. When this happens, you can easily fix it with Shoe Goo. When you get tired of it, you can use it for art projects. I attached metal butterfly wings. This is easy as the plastic is soft. I have a second cat horn.
