They're not brilliantly colorful on paper. The ink sort of seeps in, though it doesn't really bleed. I'm on the fence about the fine vs. medium lines. I want to fill in spaces, but I also grab them to write text. If the text were still brilliantly colored - or better - more brilliant once written than parsed in my brain, then I 'would be giddy with color and/or magnificent prose. As it is, I'm dutifully coloring parrots and turtles during quarantine. Not sure what's brilliant about that other than creatively passing time.
