Review on SanDisk Cruzer 128GB Flash SDCZ36 128G B35 by Taj Tyagi

If you've ever tried to set up an OTA-DVR for your AirTV2 device, you might have encountered a problem or two. USB support for AirTV boxes (flash memory or USB disk) is very difficult. There are few compatible USB flash drives and external USB hard drives on AirTV's support website. And this list is only for "ORIGINAL" AirTV devices. AirTV2 doesn't even have a list of compatible devices. However, the original list of AirTV devices also works for AirTV 2. Unfortunately, this list is very short (and incomplete). For example, this list only includes the 128GB version of this flash drive. Spend money on the 128GB version. Buy the 256GB version [SanDisk Cruzer 256GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (SDCZ36-256G-B35)] instead. This drive WILL GO! And be sure to get the USB 2.0 version! USB 3.0 is NOT supported. USB 2.0 is the same model I'm reviewing here. Get 40 hours of fast DVR storage for less than $35. Don't worry about slow, clunky external hard drives (unless you really need 100 hours of OTA storage). Opt for the faster SanDisk Cruzer Flash instead. I don't think SanDisk makes a large version of the Cruzer USB 2.0 drive. So this might be the largest USB 2.0 stick known to work. I haven't experimented with a larger capacity drive, so I can neither confirm nor deny the results. This USB stick is easily recognized by the AirTV2 and automatically formatted. It takes a maximum of 5 minutes and you can start setting up the recording schedule right after. So if you want to quickly get 40 hours of AirTV2 DVR storage for less than $35, grab this little guy and save yourself a lot of trouble!
