SanDisk Cruzer 128GB Flash SDCZ36 128G B35 Review

Bought 256 GB, Sooooo slow! don't buy it I have another 128GB of the same brand, bought it last year, it works great, I couldn't figure out why this 256GB is too slow to the point where I found it unusable.

I tried to put 36.8GB of photos and videos in it but it said there is not enough free space. However, I was able to install 29.8 GB. Most likely it's 32GB, 128GB will appear on the outside and the computer will read 128. But if you try to use more than 32, you'll get an error. It's amazing how Amazon allows this to happen.

Connected, secured and tested in June when purchased. Went in last week and same computer can't see it. Tried restarting, different computers, different USB ports, nothing. Money. Most reviewers don't have a problem, but after seeing more and more negative reviews, there seems to be a trend: I wouldn't trust this device with important data. There are enough errors listed here to get you thinking. And for $56 with no hope of an exchange, I advise trying another product. Why roll the dice?

Super slow write speed; When saving a 72 gigabyte ZIP file to this flash drive, the transfer rate was about 5 MB/s and the transfer is said to take 5 hours and 30 minutes. My computer supports USB 2.0, and in Windows 7 I changed the device settings to "Performance" [this did not increase the transfer speed]. Extremely disappointed. I received this flash drive and have been using it to upload photos for the past week. I was shocked when I got an error message that the hard drive is full and only has 31.9GB of free space. I bought two 256GB hard drives to archive photos and videos. Flash drives are ideal for this purpose as they are small, portable, inexpensive, reliable and offer plenty of storage space for thousands of photos etc. I bought USB 2.0 drives instead of USB 3.0 because my computer only outputs 2.0.
