Review on SanDisk Cruzer 128GB Flash SDCZ36 128G B35 by Gary Ferguson

I just got off the phone with SanDisk Tech Support and I can say I will NEVER buy another SanDisk product! My SanDisk Cruzer 128GB 2015 randomly got a 'read only' error this week and now it can't be read, written, formatted or repaired. I've tried all applicable online solutions that work with most other USB sticks that might have this problem, all to no avail. Then I found a KB article on Sandisk's own website that said sometimes a drive goes into "read-only" mode and when it does, there's no way to get it back. (Removed link per Revain review policy.) NO SOLUTION! AND YOU RECOGNIZE THAT YOUR PRODUCT DEBT! And yet. Because the manufacturer's warranty is only 3 years, the company refused to service or replace my unit. Instead, they offered me a 25% credit towards their online store. What an insult! Why on earth do I need another stick with defects?! Thing is, warranties don't matter when it comes to known defects. That's what ratings are for. But in the case of SanDisk, they continue to sell drives with built-in errors. Reviews will show that other people are currently having the issue on both new drives and older drives like mine. It's just a ticking time bomb - you can potentially use it for months, maybe years. I'm taking my business far, far away from this garbage company. You too have plenty of choices in the USB flash media market and I encourage you to do the same.
