Suction is excellent as long as the screen isn't cracked. The bonus tool is my new favorite opening tool.

It sucks, in a good way. A pointed black opening tool works great for this job. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it's a lot harder than those blue triangle opening tools. I also used a stack of mini playing cards to keep the glue from sticking since this is my first time opening an iPad.
