I LOVE THESE SHORTS! I ordered 32-34, they weren't tight but neat. If you are 34 years old but sometimes close to 35, you'd better choose one size bigger. I probably will next time. The decal is part of the fabric and will not peel off or fade after washing. I have SOTF shorts which I like too, but they are a bit shorter and tend to curl up after several washes. I usually wear them with leggings. I LOVE the length of these shorts as I am a Latter Day Saint and prefer knee length MMA shorts which means I can also wear these shorts with mesh clothing when I'm skating. It also means I can wear these shorts for more than just fights/sparring which is also a plus. However, the material is thin but durable and expensive. The waist is held securely with heavy-duty Velcro and drawcords. Time will tell if they survive multiple washes. For the price I would say the purchase was a pleasant surprise.
