The stand looks like what I expected (yay!) and the elements and top are stronger than expected which is a big plus. In fact, I only have one comment and one comment that doesn't allow for a 5 star rating. I noticed that the back half of the shelves should be adjustable (there are 2 hole positions) but the front of the shelf is not. That means if you want to store your shoes without touching the top shelf, you need to place them heel first. I really don't know why they didn't have the same pre-drilled holes on the front and back which would allow for better shelf height adjustment. As you can see in the picture, I drilled the second set of holes for the bottom shelf myself. My nit has already been commented on. Basically the device uses larger holes compared to the screws you use to make everything work. It makes sense when you think about it. If you turn the shelf but all the holes are in line then you will fail if everything is "perfectly" finished. So my advice is NOT to drag ANYTHING out until you have it all together. You have to fiddle with the fit a bit and that's almost impossible with tight material. So basically I'm very satisfied. It's definitely an improvement over the 2 tier bamboo shelving I used before. I think it's fair to say that if you like the photos you see online you will be happy with what is displayed.
