Review on Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM FLD Lens: Large Aperture Standard Zoom for Canon DSLR - International Version (No Warranty) by Amar Amar ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I'm a little disappointed, not a good buy.

I didn't really like this lens. There are several reasons. The first one catches hares very much both day and night. The second - the colors are somehow faded, and there is no way to draw them out. Boring drawing - bokeh looks like a gaussian blur. For a staffer - a very heavy lens with a hefty front glass. Constantly trying to get something on him. But it does look "professional". Well, to all that has been said - on my carcass, he demanded adjustment, after which there were no problems with focus at short distances. But they adjusted it to infinity badly - I had to turn it by hand. The lack of constant manual focus in this situation is also frustrating - you have to quickly switch to MF mode - and the moment can be missed.
